Meet Ourso interns Liberty Robson and Madelyn Madiedo, both set to graduate in May 2025—Liberty with a degree in marketing and Madelyn in accounting. This summer, they are gaining experience as internal audit interns at Nabors Industries. After joining the program last semester, Liberty and Madelyn were recruited by Nabors Industries. Their duties include learning how to test purchase orders, SOX controls, and various types of audits. Alongside their professional growth, they've had some fantastic experiences, like visiting an active oil rig and exploring Canrig Robotics (a sector of Nabors Industries).Liberty and Madelyn are grateful for the opportunities this internship has provided and for the lasting friendship they've formed.#OursoIntern #LSUIntern #LSUMeansBusiness

In our final National Intern Day post, we highlight Christopher Bonvillain, a finance major working as a finance/business development intern for Accord in Stockholm, Sweden. Accord is a group organizing app for households and families that turns chores into rewards. The company received a startup grant from KTH Innovation and has offices on the KTH Royal Institute of Technology campus. Christopher's responsibilities include setting pricing for the application and its subscriptions, as well as attending weekly meetings to promote and sell the app to interested companies. Christopher aspires to begin his career abroad; his dream workplace is the Lloyd's of London insurance market.
