UNDERSTANDING HOW THE SPIRITS OF JEZEBEL, AHAB & LEVIATHAN AFFECT PEOPLE (2024)

People around the world all get hurt growing up in various ways. Most are hurt emotionally through hurtful words from people (often their own father or mother, a step-parent, other relatives, siblings, friends, etc., ) and some are hurt through physical or sexual abuse (or simply being touched sexually from anyone or shown p*rnography). When we get hurt we will remember what happened to us as the demons tell us over and over again how evil those people were who took advantage of us so that we cannot truly forgive them in our hearts which gives the demons legal rights to continue to speak to our minds, giving us negative thoughts of anger, fear, anxiety, depression, impure sexual desires, etc. Then many of those who were wounded come into the church and never get their soul wounds healed or delivered from their demons and continue to hurt people (usually their spouse, children and certain people that they target in the church). About 85% of marriages (and relationships) consist of one person who has the spirit of Jezebel and Leviathan and another who has Ahab. They work in tandem with each other but never have true godly intimacy. So to understand what people who operate in these demons look like it is important to know how they behave everyday:

Jezebel Spirit

• Controlling (the voices tell them that their decisions are the best and they can’t trust you or others – they feel if they control other people then they will never be hurt again)
• Manipulative (they will guilt you to do what they want – you know if you don’t watch my child so I can go out to an event then I will have to leave them with my neighbor who is not a Christian and they could get hurt)
• Anxious / Fearful
• Very Jealous
• Angry when you are happy
• Demanding
• Defiant
• Selfish
• Sexually impure & selfish and will control their spouse if they don’t do what they want through cutting them off
• Push their victims to have sex before marriage
• So either a lot of sex or none but never true intimacy and love
• Master Liar and half truths
• Desire for power and leadership
• Wants to shut down true Holy Spirit
• More dominant
• Little to no empathy for their victims
• Mock you and make fun of you, belittle you
• Intimidates / threatens
• Do not like to be inconvenienced
• Do not like to share
• Ruin holidays and birthdays and anniversaries
• Rebellious
• Suspicious of your intentions / paranoid
• Critical / Judgmental
• Show contempt & disrespect
• Speak ambiguously so they can deny what they said or wanted and never take responsibility
• They will cuss at their victims in private while acting godly to the public as their image of appearing godly is everything
• They take offense easily / hypersensitive and offend people often
• They accuse of doing what they actually do
• Will overtalk you so you can’t talk and talk for hours to wear you down so they will get their way
• Argue about petty things
• Rarely ever admit they are wrong or apologize
• Especially target leaders of ministries or churches to discredit and lie about them to hurt their ministries
• Exaggerates everything
• Cannot stand it when plans change at the last minute because they cannot control
• Great at acting like they are the victim to get people to sympathize with them over their true victims and will use social media and have private conversations to gain support and get people to believe lies about their godly victim
• Talk often about exaggerated grandiose future plans that never happen
• Gossip and spread rumors against their victims
• Will compete against their own spouse on most things to try to defeat them
• They act assured but are very insecure
• They act sweet and innocent but it’s fake as they are mean and bully their victims behind closed doors
• Cannot stand to be told no
• They feel like they are your personal policeman and will report on you if you don’t do what they think you should do
• Always have drama in their lives and blames others but want sympathy
• Demand you do whatever they tell you
• Loves to provoke people until they get them angry and then blame them when their victims can no longer stand it and say things back to them in exasperation
• Can’t stand it if other people love you more than them
• Craves attention and adoration
• Enjoy starting arguments as they never want anyone to have peace
• Will continue to repeat their version of a story over and over to convince people their lies are truth
• Women will pursue men aggressively
• Constant chatter from the enemy in their mind causing them to operate in fear
• Overly concerned with their physical appearance – in love with themselves – love to be adored and praised – women often wear a lot of makeup to seduce men to like them and get them to do what they want
• Very secretive to cover up their lies
• Want you to spend lots of $ on them and believe they deserve the best. Often need $ and drains their victims of $
• They tell you to do something but get mad at you when you don’t to it exactly as they would and then will always change up what they said to make sure they can criticize you
• Those who are in relationship with them often feel sick to their stomach as they have to walk on eggshells around them to keep the peace and they can develop other sicknesses and diseases including cancer
• Target their victims for months by seeing your likes and dislikes on social media and then portray themselves to be that person you want to draw you in – but once married you discover they are entirely different
• Unable to truly love
• Enjoy playing mind games and stringing you along playing on your heart strings and mercy heart
• Once they can no longer control you will discard you
• Will isolate you so you won’t be able to have other people detect their dark behavior so no one will listen to your cries for help
• Have many secret private conversations with people to lie about you and try to destroy your reputation to turn them against you
• Do not want you to communicate with them using 3-way texts or messages with other people so they can’t be held accountable as to what they said as other people will be able to see what is going on
• Perfectionistic – but their decisions are not good
• Betray you and very disloyal
• Will try and do a lot of things / works that appear good to the community or church but never have any real fruit of the spirit in their lives to those closest to them
• If they are a man then they will often shake your hand in an unusually painful way (tightly) to show you they are in control (due to their insecurity)
• Want to stop you from ever speaking about the evil they do yet will spread rumors and lies about you to as many people as possible to cause people to think you are bad to turn them against you and control you
• Nothing you can do will please them and you will never have peace if you are in a relationship with them
• Accuse their victims of being a narcissist over and over on social media and in secret conversations with others
• Wants you to submit to them instead of God – this is idolatry
• Will act like they are anointed of God but they have no anointing
• Love their titles (prophet, pastor, apostle, etc) which they often purchase online or are self-appointed
• Can have people they idolize who represent ungodly behavior (sexual movie stars, singers, etc)
• Love to be the center of attention and post a lot of selfies on social media
• If they are a woman they will not submit to a godly husband – if they are a man then they will be overly controlling of their wife
• Prey upon the mercy hearts of others
• Double standard (will not let u look at their phones but demand you show you your phone so they can check on your texts or calls or searches)
• They also keep their phones very very close to them and never leave it behind even to get out of the vehicle to pump gas and get back in. And most will also have a lock on their phone with a password. But will not allow their partner to have a lock on their phone. They will call their partner a million times if they go somewhere and if they don’t answer they will get mad and say why didn’t you answer your phone. And they will make life miserable the whole time you are away by constantly calling and interrupting what you’re doing. Because usually they cheat and want to make sure their partner isn’t doing anything to them. Because that is what they do when they leave.
• Drive a wedge between their children (more women) or have a favored child
• Their children will often not get along with them but will often like their step mother or step father who are more gentle and loving
• Narcissistic Personality Disorder
• Accuse their victim of being a Narcissist/ Jezebel
• Overt v Covert
• Sins of commission

Leviathan Spirit

• Prideful (think they are better than someone else, opposite of humble)
• False humility
• Twists communication in their minds
• Wraps around spine and twists
• Back / neck pain
• Headaches
• Insomnia
• Causes drowsiness when reading Bible or Christian books
• Scoliosis
• Fibromyalgia
• Many other sicknesses / diseases / afflictions
• Freemasons / Scottish Rite / Shriners / Eastern Star (women)

Ahab Spirit

• Often has a position of influence & have money
• Does not like confrontation
• Allow ungodly behavior and decisions
• Has a hard time being a strong spiritual leader
• Strong desire to make everyone happy
• Afraid of being rejected and alone
• Does not like taking responsibility for things that could be bad but will do it
• Feels more secure being married to someone who will run the show
• Compromises on sexual purity in relationships (often Jezebel will seduce)
• Expecting bad things to take place
• Avoiding telling people what they need to do and passively putting up with bad behavior
• If someone is angry with you then you believe it must be your fault
• Believe it is your duty to make everyone happy and comfortable
• Believe what others say about them (if they say you are not a good person then you believe it)
• Have a challenge making decisions
• Believe you should always act happy in spite of hardship or trouble
• Always feel a failure, unaccepted, insecure
• Happiness and peace based on current circ*mstances and how loved, affirmed and accepted they feel
• Give power away in order for other people to validate your identity and to tell you who you are
• Fears abandonment and become clingy, needy and helpless
• Never take up your God-given freedom and refuse to step up and become assertive and command respect
• Usually do not forgive yourself and often has issues with God
• Overly merciful and sees the best in everyone – overlooks too much
• Forgive others too quickly without making them aware of their offenses
• Will do anything to gain acceptance
• Very nice person – too nice
• Have low self-esteem and try to gain ground by winning acceptance
• Sins of omission

Most people will have various characteristics from all three of these spirits but will default to behaving more from the list from the spirit of Jezebel or Ahab. So most in a relationship will see that one of the people will behave more like Jezebel and the other person more like Ahab. You rarely see two people with the spirit of Jezebel or two like the spirit of Ahab getting married to each other. How do people who operate in these demonic spirits get delivered? They must do four main things.

1) They must be completely honest with their sinful behavior before the Lord and not live in a lie, sugar coating themselves

2) They must choose to completely forgive all those who have ever hurt them which usually involves asking the Lord to show them from His perspective all who have done them wrong so they can understand all who have hurt them were also hurt. Jesus died on the cross and said “Father forgive them for they know not what they do”

3) They must ask God to humble themselves from their prideful hearts

4) They must repent for the sin that they have done

Then they can command the demons that have tormented them to be gone and they will finally be able to operate in a true Christlike heart with the fruit of the spirit being evident in their lives (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control). When both a husband and a wife choose to get their soul wounds healed and delivered from their demons they will then experience true intimacy and few disagreements. Everyone needs to choose to get healed and delivered in order to have true fruit of the spirit, good hearts and minds.
