Participants choose six numbers between 1 and 45, or can go for a Quick Pick for random selections. For an additional €1.00, players can add Lotto XL to their ticket to reutilize their chosen lottery numbers in a secondary draw, for the chance to win up to €1 million.
State Lottery
The Netherlands State Lottery is a raffle draw held 16 times a year. Entry costs a minimum of €3.50.
To enter, participants first buy a ticket printed with a random number. Tickets range from the 1/5 State Lottery, for a chance to win one fifth of each prize, to Boulevard for 100 full State Lottery tickets. Boulevard is a great way to increase the odds of winning, but costs €1,750!

Each ticket contains a random five-digit number and a letter of the alphabet. Players can change their chosen letter if they wish.
A colored ball is drawn at the start of each draw, with the €1 million jackpot only available if the green ball is drawn. If a purple ball is drawn, the starting jackpot of €10,000 is doubled. If any other color ball is drawn, the game has a fixed jackpot of €10,000.
