Welcome to Last Drop, where you can discover the newest and buzziest beauty launches hitting shelves near you.
“Refy recently reformulated its lip liner, which used to come with a liner on one end and a liquid ‘setter’ on the other. Now, it’s just one long-lasting formula that grips onto the lips and doesn’t budge (unless I eat something super greasy). The shade Fawn is super close to my natural lip color, which allows me to over line a little without it looking too obvious, and it has a natural finish that doesn’t emphasize how dry my lips are.”—Carol Lee, ELLE.com associate beauty e-commerce writer
“I’ve been super into illuminating primers lately, and ever since this one launched, I haven’t reached for anything else. The rosy, pearly shade gives me just the right amount of glow, which shines through underneath my concealer. I also feel good knowing that the formula is also nourishing my skin with Augustinus Bader’s signature TFC8 technology, which smooths and firms so that by the time I wash my makeup off, my complexion looks better than before.”—Carol Lee
“Kurky is such a fun fragrance—it shows Francis Kurkdjian’s playful side. It’s light and airy, and sweet. Kurkdjian told me that he tapped into his childhood to create this scent, including his love for gummy candies (which is one of the notes!). It’s the ideal fragrance for spring.”—Katie Berohn, ELLE beauty editor
“Powder blush is officially back, and I’m not mad about it. Westman Atelier is also reviving the classic powder cheek duo format, with three pairs of blushes and contour powders alongside three curated pairs of blushes. They’re all gorgeous, but my personal favorite is the palette that features Coquette (light peachy pink) and Mimi (light brown)—two hues that already exist in the brand’s cream blush stick range. The powders are super finely milled and almost blend themselves, and I appreciate that they’re not so pigmented that you have to be overly cognizant of how much is on the brush. Instead, you can slowly build up the color to your ideal level.”—Carol Lee
“When Carol and I saw these perfumes in person, we both squealed a little bit because they are so cute. Each topper is inspired by one of the brand’s signature leather animals, and closes with a satisfying magnetic click. You can choose your own spirit animal. For instance, mine is the Jolly Rabbit, a playful scent with elements of neroli and vetiver.”—Kathleen Hou, ELLE beauty director
“I’m really picky about mascara. I find that more often than not, the mascaras I use don’t hold a curl well or end up smudged under my eyes by the end of the day (or a ghastly combination of both). Armani’s new mascara not only makes my lashes look three times as long as they are naturally, but it also doesn’t smudge, wears well all day, and fans out my lashes. I’m obsessed.”—Katie Berohn
“Ultra Violette has finally, finally touched down in the States. Although the Australian sunscreen maker had to adjust its formulas to comply with the FDA’s (frankly outdated) regulations, the U.S. version of Supreme Screen is still exciting. The chemical sunscreen feels like a moisturizer and adds an extra layer of hydration for my dry-leaning skin as it provides a whopping SPF 50 protection. Also, it has never pilled on me, so I never worry about wearing it under makeup.”—Carol Lee
“Ask any perfumer and they’ll tell you that vanilla scents are one of the biggest trends of 2025. I’m not typically a big vanilla person—I don’t like smelling sweet. But this is vanilla like you’ve never smelled it. It has three different vanilla extracts that are all nuanced and made even more interesting by the addition of Gucci’s bespoke Iris Pallida Concrete, which adds a dash of woodsy spice. It’s rounded out with a myrrh resinoid that lends a smoky, balsamic quality. Long story short: this fragrance is mysterious and different, and it’s perfect for your next night out.”—Katie Berohn
“My natural lashes are pretty long already (thanks, Mom!), so the number one thing I need from my mascaras is volume. Traditionally, tubing mascaras haven’t been able to fulfill my wishes; although the fact that you can wash them off with water is convenient, they always looked way too natural for me. I want people to know that I’m wearing mascara and comment on how falsie-like my lashes look. But Kulfi’s new Badi Lash has become a fast favorite precisely because it washes off easily, has a precise applicator that reaches every tiny hair, and builds and builds upon itself to provide just the amount of va-va-voom I’m looking for.”—Carol Lee
“Bulgari first launched Eau Parfumée Thé Blanc in 2003, but it has never before been available in a eau de toilette formulation. The fresh, comforting scent is built around the slightly floral and herbal aroma of white tea, which is complemented by the addition of white musk. As a bona fide musk lover, I fell in love with this fragrance at first sniff.”—Carol Lee
“Here in New York City, the weather keeps playing with our hearts. One day, it’ll be sunny and warm enough to saunter out without a jacket, and it’ll drop down to near-freezing temperatures the next. But I’m already dreaming of summer, in part thanks to LoveShackFancy’s newest scent. The aquatic fragrance smells like the ideal tropical vacation—sweet flowers blooming all around you while you sip coconut milk from an actual coconut on the beach. I’m not usually into gourmands, but I miss warm weather so much that I’m making a rare exception.”—Carol Lee
